Game Overview

Kurohyou 2 is basically Yakuza but on the PSP—smaller screen, same gritty charm. You play as Tatsuya, a street punk dragged into the underground brawling scene, and the fights are brutal in that satisfying Yakuza way. Expect to smash bikes over heads, dodge knives, and get sucker-punched in back alleys between all the dramatic cutscenes.

The story’s got that over-the-top crime drama energy the series is known for, just condensed for handheld. Weirdly, the smaller scale works—you’re not saving the whole underworld here, just trying to survive it. The combat’s a bit janky compared to the main games, but landing a heat move on some thug never gets old.

If you’ve got a PSP and miss the PS2-era Yakuza vibe, this one’s a solid fix.
