Game Overview

Ninja-Kid II (or NinjaKun Ashura no Shou, if you're feeling fancy) is one of those classic arcade games that somehow makes throwing shurikens at weird little monsters feel like an art form. You play as this tiny ninja who moves way faster than you'd expect—seriously, the first time I played, I kept overshooting jumps because he's so zippy.

The levels are short but brutal, packed with enemies that pop up from all directions. You've got your basic shurikens, but the real fun starts when you grab the power-ups—some let you shoot fireballs, others turn you into this spinning death wheel. The controls take a minute to get used to, but once it clicks, you'll be bouncing off walls and clearing screens of enemies like some kind of pixelated ninja god.

It's got that perfect old-school arcade balance where it feels impossible at first, but after a few tries, you start seeing the patterns. Just don't get too cocky—those later levels will humble you real quick.
