Game Overview

So here's the deal: Blu Boltar, this power-hungry warlord from the Yoma clan, just took over Chinaland and kidnapped the Emperor. He's even broadcasting his victory on TV like some cheesy villain. That's where you come in as Jack or Ryu—two ninja apprentices training under their master at Mt. Epin. Obviously, they're not about to let this slide.

Little Ninja Brothers (the second Super Chinese game) mixes RPG exploration with arcade-style fights. You'll wander the overworld, bump into random monsters, and then suddenly you're in this side-scrolling brawl where you punch, jump-kick, and occasionally grab power-ups mid-battle. Defeat enough enemies, and you'll level up both characters at once (handy if a friend jumps in as player two). The Sen money you earn buys throwing stars, swords, and weirdly specific upgrades like "projectile attacks" from convenience stores—because apparently ninjas shop at 7-Eleven now.

Boss fights flip the script: turns are sudden, and you're frantically choosing between special moves or healing items before the enemy clobbers you. Between missions, there's this bizarre sports minigame where you race while popping balloons or eating floating food. It makes zero sense for ninjas, but hey, 1980s NES logic.
