Game Overview

If you're into Kuroko no Basuke, this PSP game nails the over-the-top basketball action from the anime. You pick your favorite team—Seirin, Kaijo, or one of the other squads—and immediately notice how each character plays just like their anime counterpart. Kuroko's vanishing drives are as sneaky as they should be, and Aomine's ridiculous crossovers actually feel unfair (in the best way).

The special moves are the real highlight—they trigger these flashy cutscenes that look ripped straight from the show. First time I pulled off Midorima's full-court three-pointer, I might have yelled a little. The controls take a minute to get used to, but once you figure out the timing for passes and dunks, it starts feeling like you're controlling the Generation of Miracles yourself.

Just don't expect NBA 2K realism—this is all about recreating that anime hype. You'll either love it or wonder why your point guard keeps glowing purple.
