Leisure Suit Larry 1 in the Land of the Lounge Lizards came out in 1987 for MS-DOS, developed and published by Sierra On-Line. It was part of that era when text parsers and pixel art defined PC adventure games, and it stood out immediately for its adult themes and humor.
You control Larry Laffer, a middle-aged man in a tacky leisure suit, as he tries to find romance over one night in the city of Lost Wages. Progress depends on careful exploration, conversation choices, and collecting items like cash or condoms.
