LocoRoco is one of those games that just makes you smile the second it starts up. You control these squishy, singing blobs by tilting the whole world left or right—no jumping, just physics and momentum. The first time I played, I accidentally squished my LocoRoco into a tiny gap and couldn't stop laughing at their little "wheee!" noises.
The colors are ridiculously cheerful, like someone turned a candy store into a platformer. And the music? It burrows into your brain in the best way possible—half the fun is hearing your blobs harmonize as they roll around. It's simple, but there's something weirdly satisfying about watching them merge together or split apart to solve puzzles.
Perfect for quick sessions, though I definitely lost track of time trying to collect every hidden flower. The PSP's tilt controls still feel surprisingly fresh.
