Game Overview
LocoRoco is one of those games that just makes you smile. You control these squishy, singing blobs by tilting the world left or right—it sounds simple, but watching them roll around, bounce, and merge together never gets old. The first time I made one split into smaller LocoRoco by pressing Circle, I couldn’t stop laughing at their little squeaks.
There’s something oddly satisfying about gobbling up berries to grow bigger, then realizing you’re too chonky to fit through a gap. No worries—just split apart and wiggle through. The levels are full of hidden nooks with tiny blue Mui Mui guys who give you parts to build a custom Loco House. I spent way too much time decorating mine, just to watch a LocoRoco wander in and start bopping along to the music.
It’s bright, silly, and surprisingly deep for a game about rolling blobs. The Moja Troop are these fuzzy little jerks trying to eat your LocoRoco, but honestly, the real danger is getting distracted by how catchy the soundtrack is. You’ll catch yourself humming it later.
