Play Mad Paradox Online
You’re Mash, hunting down your parents’ killer in a grungy DOS RPG—turn-based fights, cryptic townsfolk, and a mystery girl with a weird symbol. Feels like digging up some forgotten VHS tape full of ‘90s anime angst.

Game Overview
Mad Paradox is one of those weird, moody MS-DOS RPGs that sticks with you—partly because of the revenge story, partly because it’s just so nineties. You play as Mash, a guy who finds out his parents were murdered by some fire-wielding maniac named Gorgus, and yeah, you’re gonna hunt him down. The gameplay’s straightforward—walk into towns, talk to people who give you just enough info to move forward, fight monsters in turn-based battles that feel satisfyingly old-school. No fancy mouse controls here, just keyboard inputs like the good (or frustrating) old days.
What makes it stand out? The tone. There’s anime-style art, some surprisingly mature scenes, and this eerie mystery about a girl with a strange symbol. It’s linear, sure—you’re basically following a trail of breadcrumbs to the next fight or cutscene—but there’s something oddly gripping about how single-minded it all feels. If you’ve got a soft spot for retro RPGs with a dark edge, this one’s worth dusting off.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
