Game Overview

Time Paradox came out in 1996 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, developed by Flair Software Ltd. It was one of those late-era DOS titles that tried to do something a little different with the adventure genre, mixing time travel with puzzle solving and exploration. The game doesn't get mentioned much these days, but it had a certain charm that stood out even among more polished releases.

You play as Kay, a time traveler tasked with repairing breaks in history caused by the sorceress Morgana. You move screen by screen through different time periods, from prehistoric jungles to medieval castles, talking to characters, gathering items, and using them to solve environmental puzzles. The game requires careful observation and logic; you might combine ingredients to brew a potion or use an object from one era to affect events in another. The pacing is deliberate, and some puzzles can be quite obscure, demanding patience and experimentation. It feels satisfying when a solution clicks into place and you see the timeline slowly mend itself.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
