Play Magic Pockets Online
You’re a kid with magic pants gone wild, jumping through toy-stuffed levels while floating on a gum bubble to reclaim your stolen stuff—all to the beat of Betty Boo’s weirdly perfect soundtrack.

Magic Pockets came out in 1991 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games lineup, developed by Bulldog. It was one of those early platformers that felt right at home on a PC, back when games were often distributed on floppy disks and loaded with a simple command prompt. The visual style was bright and cartoonish, a little different from the darker or more serious titles of the time, but it fit well within the experimental spirit of PC gaming in the early 90s.
You control a boy whose pockets have gone haywire, spilling toys and treasures across dozens of levels. Your goal is to recollect every last item, jumping across platforms, avoiding enemies, and solving environmental puzzles. The game is built screen by screen, with a focus on exploration and careful movement rather than speed. One of its signature mechanics is using a bubblegum bubble to float and reach higher areas; another involves picking up and using various toys scattered around to defeat foes or access new paths. The pacing is methodical, and some screens demand precise timing, making it trickier than it first appears. Playing it feels like slowly untangling a very colorful, very stubborn knot.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
