Game Overview
Oh man, Magnetic—that takes me back. You're this little magnet sliding around a grid, pulling metal blocks toward you or pushing them away with a satisfying clink. At first it feels like child's play, until level 3 hits and suddenly you're sweating over whether to attract or repel that one crucial block near the pit.
The whole thing runs on pure puzzle logic—no tutorials, no hand-holding. Just you, some increasingly devious level designs, and that moment of triumph when you finally figure out the right sequence of pushes and pulls. The graphics are about as basic as MS-DOS gets (we're talking colored ASCII blocks here), but somehow that just makes the gameplay shine brighter.
If you've ever lost hours to Chip's Challenge or Sokoban, do yourself a favor and track this one down. That last pun in the original description? Yeah, it's earned.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
