Mappy Kids is one of those weird little NES games that somehow makes stealing toys from cats feel like an Olympic sport. You play as Mappy's tiny offspring—basically mice in sneakers—bouncing around toy stores on trampolines, dodging grumpy felines, and occasionally hopping into a toy car to make a quick getaway. The two-player mode turns it into pure chaos, especially when you realize you can accidentally knock each other into enemies.

The graphics are bright and chunky in that classic Namco way, and the music sticks in your head whether you want it to or not. It's not as polished as the arcade original, but there's something charming about how over-the-top silly it gets. Just try not to throw your controller when your sibling steals the last present right in front of you.
