Game Overview
Mario 7-in-1 (Mapper 52) is one of those weird NES multicarts—seven Mario-themed minigames mashed together, though some barely feel like Mario at all. You get a mix of platforming, racing, and even a weird block-pushing puzzle thing that feels out of place.
The first few minutes are disorienting—you jump between completely different mechanics without warning. One second you're hopping on goombas, the next you're steering a clunky kart or stacking blocks. The controls are stiff in some, floaty in others, like they just grabbed whatever unfinished prototypes were lying around.
It's not terrible if you go in expecting a janky novelty, but Mario 7-in-1 (Mapper 52) definitely feels like a bootleg experiment rather than a polished collection. Some of the minigames have a weird charm, but most just make you wish you were playing the real thing instead.
