Mario Arctic Adventure is one of those simple-but-weirdly-addictive Flash games where you turn enemies into giant snowballs. You start off just pelting them with snow until they’re completely buried—then things get fun. Hit SPACE, and Mario kicks the snowball version of that poor Goomba like a soccer ball, sending it flying into other enemies for chain reactions. The physics are janky in the best way, and half the time you’ll accidentally punt a snowball off-screen instead of into a cluster of baddies. But when you pull off a perfect ricochet? So satisfying.
It’s not deep, but there’s something hilarious about watching Mario turn Bowser’s minions into makeshift bowling pins. Just don’t expect precision—this is pure chaotic snowball mayhem.
