Mario Brother 2 is weird in the best way, like, why is there a desert full of water and dolphins? But somehow it works. You’re still jumping on platforms and dodging enemies, but everything feels just a little more chaotic than the first game. More pits, more weird creatures trying to knock you off ledges, and way more "oh come on!" moments when you miss a jump.
It’s not as polished as later Mario games, but that’s part of the charm. Just be ready for some cheap hits, those dolphins aren’t always your friends. If you’re into old-school platformers that don’t hold your hand, this one’s a solid time-waster.
