Play Mario in the Unworld Online
Guide Mario through glitchy worlds, dodge erratic enemies, and survive distorted levels in this unofficial SNES adventure.
Mario in the Unworld came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, though I don't recall who made it. It's one of those unofficial, homebrew-style games that popped up later, so it feels like a strange, unofficial chapter from the SNES era that never was.
You control Mario through a series of distorted, glitched-out versions of familiar worlds. The goal is simply to survive and reach the end of each level, but the environment itself is your main obstacle. Platforms phase in and out of existence, enemies move in erratic, unpredictable patterns, and the music is often warped or unsettling. The pacing is slow and deliberate, demanding careful observation more than quick reflexes. It feels like navigating a corrupted memory of a game you used to know.
