Play Mario is Missing! on Msdos Online
Luigi treks through real cities, answering geography quizzes to recover stolen artifacts—feels more like homework than a Mario game, but that SNES-style soundtrack somehow makes the clunky MS-DOS typing bearable.

Game Overview
Okay, so Mario is Missing! is... weird. It’s one of those edutainment games from the early '90s where Luigi (finally the star!) runs around real-world cities collecting stolen artifacts Bowser swiped. You’d think it’d be a fun adventure, but mostly you’re answering geography trivia to progress. The MS-DOS version feels extra clunky—lots of typing commands and pixel-hunting.
That said, the soundtrack slaps. They remixed Super Mario World tunes, and somehow that’s the best part of the whole thing. Critics tore it apart back in the day, and yeah, it’s not great, but there’s a weird charm to how bizarrely un-Mario it all is. If you’re into retro oddities, this might kill 20 minutes before you nope out.
Fun fact: This was Luigi’s first solo gig before he got his own actually-good games. Poor guy deserved better.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
