Play Mario Party DS (v01) (J) Online
Mario Party DS shrinks the board game chaos down to handheld size—roll dice, steal stars, and stab friends in the back between frantic touchscreen mini-games where you're blowing into the mic or tilting the system like a madman.

Game Overview
Mario Party DS is basically a pocket-sized version of the chaotic board game madness you know from the console games, but with some clever twists for the handheld. You’ve got your usual mix of dice rolls, star stealing, and those brutal last-turn betrayals—just now it all fits in your backpack.
The mini-games actually make decent use of the DS hardware. Some have you blowing into the mic to inflate balloons, others use the stylus to frantically scratch away at touchscreen puzzles. My personal favorite? One where you tilt the system to balance a wobbly platform while everyone else tries to knock you off. Classic Mario Party nonsense.
It’s still best with friends (local multiplayer works surprisingly well), but even solo against CPUs, there’s something satisfying about watching Bowser stomp across the board and ruin everyone’s carefully laid plans. The Japanese version adds a slight layer of confusion if you don’t read the language, but the gameplay’s intuitive enough that you’ll figure it out after a round or two.
