Play Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Games (EU) Online
Choose your favorite character from Mario or Sonic and compete in various Olympic events, swiping and tapping your way to victory while aiming for medals.
I picked up Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games for the Nintendo DS back in 2008, a game developed by Sega that brought two very different mascots together for the first time. It was a fun, portable take on the Olympics during a time when the DS was full of creative touch screen games, and this one made good use of the hardware.
You choose a character from either the Mario or Sonic universe and compete in a variety of Olympic events. The main goal is to win medals by outperforming the competition in events like the 100m dash, swimming, or archery. Signature mechanics involve frantic stylus swiping and tapping for running and swimming events, careful timing and precision for javelin or shooting, and mastering character-specific strengths in events like hammer throw. The pacing is quick, with most events lasting under a minute, but some, like archery, require steady hands and can be surprisingly difficult. It feels chaotic and physical, like you're really putting effort into each motion.
