Mario Starcatcher 2 is one of those deceptively simple Flash games where the goal sounds easy—just grab the star—but actually pulling it off is another story. You’ll start by hopping onto wobbly platforms, maybe hitting a [P] block to reveal a hidden path, only to realize the star’s floating just out of reach over a pit of doom. The [!] blocks help sometimes, but half the fun is figuring out when to use them and when to just go for a reckless jump.
It’s got that classic Mario feel, but condensed into bite-sized, slightly frustrating levels where you’ll retry the same jump six times before nailing it. The controls are simple, but the timing has to be perfect. You’ll know within the first few levels whether this is your kind of challenge.
