Mario & Wario came out for the Super Nintendo in 1993, published by Nintendo. It was one of those quirky, lesser-known titles that felt experimental for its time, a puzzle-platformer that didn't quite fit the usual action mold of the system. You don't see many games like it, even now.

You control a fairy named Wanda who flies above the stage, while Mario, Luigi, Peach, or Yoshi wanders blindly below with a bucket stuck on their head. Your job is to guide them safely to the exit by tapping the bucket with your cursor to change their direction, avoiding enemies and hazards like spikes and pits. The challenge comes from timing your taps just right, since the characters keep moving on their own and one wrong nudge can send them into danger. It starts simple but demands real precision in later levels, creating a tense, almost mischievous feeling as you shepherd these helpless characters to safety.
