Game Overview
Mario Xtreme Escape 2 is one of those old Flash games that looks simple but gets surprisingly tricky. You’ve got to grab every mushroom on the screen before hitting the flag—sounds easy, right? Then you realize some are tucked behind weird jumps or hidden in spots where you’ll definitely fall if you rush.
The first few levels ease you in, but by level 5 or so, you’ll be muttering at the screen. The difficulty spikes in that classic "wait, how was I supposed to know that?" way. There’s something satisfying about finally nailing a level after a dozen attempts, though. Just don’t expect "Xtreme" to mean anything more than mildly frustrating platforming.
Fifteen levels total, and the last few will test your patience. It’s the kind of game you play when you want something quick but don’t mind a little suffering.
