The fights themselves feel like a love letter to classic 2D brawlers, but with enough weirdness to keep you on your toes. Landing combos has this satisfying weight to it, and the special moves are ridiculous in the best way. I spent way too long just figuring out how to properly use the samurai guy's sword flips before realizing I should probably just button-mash and enjoy the spectacle.
