Game Overview

Mawaru: Made in Wario came out on the Game Boy Advance in 2003, developed by Nintendo R&D1 and published by Nintendo. It was part of that era where handheld games were really leaning into quick, pick-up-and-play experiences, and this one fit right in with its strange, rapid-fire style.

You control a cursor, moving it around the screen to complete dozens of tiny, absurd challenges called microgames. Each one lasts only a few seconds, and the goal is simply to figure out what to do and act before time runs out. The mechanics change constantly: one moment you're swatting a fly, the next you're unscrewing a lightbulb or balancing a stack of books. The pace is frantic, and the difficulty ramps up quickly as you advance. It feels like a chaotic, hilarious test of your reflexes and attention.
