Wario Blast: Featuring Bomberman! came out for the Game Boy in 1994, a collaboration between Nintendo and Hudson Soft. You control either Bomberman or Wario, moving through single-screen maze stages. You place bombs to destroy soft blocks and foes, collecting power-ups that increase your blast radius, let you lay more bombs at once, or give you speed boosts.
