MC Kids came out on the NES in 1993, developed by Virgin Games. It was a late release for the system, a time when licensed platformers were common, and this one was built around the McDonald's brand. You play as one of two kids, Mick or Mack, who have to get Ronald McDonald's magic bag back from the Hamburglar after he steals it.

You control your character through side-scrolling levels, jumping on platforms and avoiding enemies like walking fries and sentient burgers. The main goal is to progress through each themed world, collecting McDonald's-related items, such as giant M letters and fries, to unlock new areas. A signature mechanic involves finding and using special cards that grant abilities, like turning into a rock to smash through obstacles or floating with a balloon.
