Game Overview
MegaRace 2 is that weird, janky '90s racing game where you drive a futuristic car loaded with weapons and try to either outrun or straight-up demolish the competition. The tracks are these neon-drenched, borderline ridiculous circuits with tight turns and hazards that’ll wreck you if you’re not careful. And yeah, Lance Boyle is back as the smarmy host—his over-the-top commentary somehow makes crashing into a wall feel even more embarrassing.
You start off with a basic car and a pea shooter, but after a few races, you’re unlocking flamethrowers, homing missiles, and other ridiculous ways to turn opponents into scrap metal. The AI isn’t exactly smart, but they’re aggressive—expect a lot of cheap shots from behind. The demo gives you just enough to get a taste of the chaos before cutting you off. It’s clunky, it’s dated, but there’s something weirdly charming about how unapologetically over-the-top it is.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
