Micro Machines on SNES is this weirdly addictive little racing game where you zip around everyday surfaces like kitchen tables and pool tables in tiny toy cars. The tracks are full of hazards—pencils become roadblocks, cereal bowls turn into death traps if you skid into them. At first, I thought the controls were way too slippery, but after a few races, you start nailing those tight drifts around a textbook or a coffee mug.

You pick from these oddball characters (the dude in the cowboy hat was my go-to) and just try not to fly off the edge of the world. Multiplayer’s where it really shines—nothing like shoving your friend into a bowl of soup right before the finish line. It’s simple, chaotic, and way more fun than it has any right to be.
