Play Missile Defense 3-D Online
Aim your crosshair and shoot down incoming missiles to protect your cities in this 3D defense game for the Sega Master System.
Missile Defense 3-D came out for the Sega Master System in 1987, published by Sega. It was one of those early attempts at bringing a 3D perspective to home consoles, using the system's hardware to create a sense of depth that felt pretty novel at the time, even if it was simple by today's standards.
You control a crosshair, moving it around a wireframe grid to shoot down incoming missiles before they hit the cities below. The main objective is straightforward: protect all your cities for as long as possible. The missiles come in different patterns; some drift lazily, others zip across the screen in tight formations, and you have to lead your shots carefully. The pacing starts slow but ramps up quickly, and the difficulty can get intense, especially when multiple missiles approach from different angles. It feels tense and demanding, like you're constantly on the edge of failure.
