Play Nations and Capitals Online
Type in capitals before the timer runs out—turns out you don’t know as many as you thought. That blinking cursor mocks every wrong guess.

Remember when learning geography actually felt like a game? Nations and Capitals nails that—no fancy graphics, just you and a brutally honest quiz about world capitals. I fired it up on my old MS-DOS setup and immediately blanked on at least three European capitals I swore I knew. The game doesn’t judge, but that blinking cursor sure does.
It’s weirdly satisfying when you finally nail that one capital you’ve been mixing up (looking at you, Uruguay). The timer adds just enough pressure to make it feel like a race against your own brain. Half the fun is realizing how many capitals you’ve forgotten since middle school—and how smug you feel when you get them right.
Perfect for late-night nostalgia trips or proving to your friends that yes, you do know the capital of Madagascar. Simple, punishing, and weirdly addictive.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
