Play NBA All-Star Challenge (Europe) Online
Pick an NBA legend from the '90s and go one-on-one in quick half-court duels—either posterize your buddy with a dunk or watch them drain a three in your face. The controls are clunky by today’s standards, but nailing a fadeaway with Bird still feels satisfying.

NBA All-Star Challenge came out for the Super Nintendo in 1992, developed by Beam Software. It was one of those early SNES sports titles that tried to capture the energy of arcade basketball without the depth of later sims. You picked from a roster of NBA stars like Larry Bird or Michael Jordan and just got straight into the action.
You control a single player in one-on-one or two-on-two matchups, trying to outscore your opponent within a time limit. The main objective is simple: score more baskets than the other guy. Signature mechanics include stealing the ball with a well-timed button press and performing special dunks or shots by combining directional inputs with the shoot button. The pacing is fast, almost frantic, and the difficulty can spike depending on who you're facing. It feels like a stripped-down, no-frills version of streetball that relies more on quick reflexes than complex strategy.
