Game Overview

NBA Jam on SNES is pure arcade chaos—no fouls, no rules, just ridiculous dunks and three-pointers from halfway across the court. You pick two players (Barkley and Jordan were my go-to), and suddenly you're shoving defenders out of the way before leaping 10 feet in the air for a slam. The announcer loses his mind yelling "BOOMSHAKALAKA!" every time you catch fire, which happens way more often than it should. The physics are completely broken in the best way—players bounce off each other like rubber, and every match turns into a frantic scramble for the ball. It’s basketball if basketball was played by superheroes on a sugar rush.

Still holds up as one of the most fun couch multiplayer games from the ‘90s. Just try not to elbow your friend when you steal the ball.
