New Super Mario Bros Flash is one of those deceptively simple-looking Mario fangames that'll wreck you if you're not careful. The 3D world looks blocky and nostalgic, but those Petey Piranhas come out of nowhere, and the pits? Way too easy to misjudge the depth. Found that out the hard way.
The [P] blocks are lifesavers though—some give you power-ups, others unlock shortcuts. Took me a few tries to realize you can actually bounce off certain enemies to reach hidden areas. Feels like an old-school Mario challenge with just enough jank to keep you on your toes.
Definitely not for the faint of heart, but satisfying when you finally nail a tough section.
