Play Ninja Commando Online
Pick a ninja, mash buttons, and watch enemies explode—teleporting goons, screen-filling bosses, and that sweet synth track make this arcade brawler pure chaos in the best way.

Ninja Commando is a 1992 arcade game by ADK, now playable through MAME 0.243. It came out during a time when side-scrolling action games were common in arcades, and it fits right into that style without trying to reinvent the wheel. The game was published by SNK, known for their Neo Geo hardware, though this title ran on their earlier MVS system.
You control one of three ninja commandos, each with a distinct weapon: a sword, claws, or a bow. Your goal is to fight through waves of enemy soldiers and monstrous creatures across various time periods to stop an evil warlord. The gameplay involves moving screen by screen, clearing all enemies before progressing, while using a standard attack and a screen-clearing special move that costs health. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty is typical for arcades of the era, meaning it can be punishing but fair with practice. It feels like a frantic, satisfying rush when you get into a rhythm of slicing through foes and narrowly dodging attacks.
