You play as Oliver, the little orange cat from the movie, scampering through New York streets, avoiding sewer grates and jumping over obstacles while Dodger and the gang occasionally pop in to help. The pixel art somehow makes the city feel alive—you’ll see taxis honking, trash cans toppling over, and even a few familiar faces from the film.
The controls are simple (this was the DOS era, after all), but there’s something satisfying about timing your jumps just right or figuring out how to sneak past Sykes’ goons. And yeah, the music’s great—if your sound card could handle it back then. It’s not a hard game by any means, but that’s part of its appeal.
