Play Omar Sharif's Bridge Online
Bridge card game simulator for Amiga. Features AI opponents with adjustable difficulty, multiple game modes including tournaments, and a tutorial. Uses mouse controls for trick-taking and bidding mechanics.

Omar Sharif's Bridge came out for the Amiga in 1990, published by Interplay. It was one of the few dedicated bridge simulators on the platform, arriving at a time when digital card games were still finding their footing. The game offered a straightforward, no-frills approach to bringing the classic trick-taking game to home computers, focusing more on mechanics than flashy presentation.
You play as yourself, seated at a virtual bridge table against AI opponents whose skill you can adjust. The main goal is to win tricks through careful bidding and strategic play, either in single rubbers or longer tournaments. The game uses mouse controls for selecting cards and making bids, with a clear interface showing your hand and the current trick. Pacing is deliberate, matching the thoughtful nature of real bridge, and the difficulty scales noticeably as you face tougher virtual partners and opponents. It feels like having a quiet, serious game with capable players who never need to take a break.
