Play Omega Online
Dodge pixel-perfect lasers in a nimble starfighter, swapping weapons on the fly as neon-lit space fills with swarming enemies and chaotic explosions. That one power-up always feels just out of reach.

Omega came out in 1989 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, developed by the Laurence Brothers. It was a time when space shooters were common, and this one fit right in with its simple, straightforward approach to the genre.
You pilot a small starfighter through a series of single-screen levels, each packed with enemy ships and intricate laser patterns. Your main goal is to clear each screen of all hostiles while dodging their precise, often unforgiving, fire. Key mechanics include collecting different power-ups to swap between weapon types on the fly and navigating tight spaces filled with swarming enemies and chaotic explosions. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty demands sharp reflexes and careful movement. It feels like a constant, tense dance where one wrong move ends your run.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
