Out of Control came out in 1983 for the Atari 2600, published by Data Age. It was one of those games that tried to do something a little different on the system, focusing on physics and precision rather than straightforward shooting or mazes.

You pilot a small, responsive ship through a series of narrow, maze-like tunnels. Your main goal is to navigate each screen, avoid the walls, and eventually dock with a target. The ship handles with realistic momentum; a short thrust sends you gliding, and stopping requires careful counter-thrusts. You must also collect floating orbs along the way to proceed. The difficulty ramps up quickly as the corridors tighten and your speed becomes harder to manage. It feels tense and demanding, like trying to thread a needle while drifting.
