Play P47 Thunderbolt Online
You slam into the cockpit of a P-47, throttle up, and immediately dodge flak while lining up shots on enemy bombers—no hand-holding, just pure '90s dogfighting chaos with chunky polygons and tight controls.

Jaleco released P47 Thunderbolt in 1990 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games lineup, a time when flight sims were pushing into more accessible, action-heavy territory. It wasn't trying to be a hyper-realistic simulation; it was built for quick, satisfying dogfights on the hardware people had then.
You pilot the namesake Republic P-47 Thunderbolt fighter, tasked with completing missions across various theaters of World War II. The core gameplay involves navigating through enemy-filled skies, using a combination of machine guns and limited bombs to destroy ground targets, bombers, and enemy fighters. A key mechanic is managing your energy and speed during dives and climbs to gain an advantage, while another involves carefully leading your shots against fast-moving targets. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty is unforgiving, with enemy fire coming from all directions. It feels like a constant, tense scramble for altitude and a clean firing solution.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
