Play Pac-in-Time (Japan) Online
Pac-Man ditches the maze to bounce through time—spring shoes send him soaring over pyramids, while grappling hooks help swing past dinosaurs. Still chomps ghosts, just with way weirder scenery.

Game Overview
Pac-in-Time (Japan) is one of those weird, wonderful SNES games that takes Pac-Man way out of his comfort zone. Instead of mazes, you're jumping across floating platforms in ancient Egypt or dodging dinosaurs in the Stone Age—yeah, it gets weird fast. The time travel gimmick actually works, though, especially when you unlock stuff like the spring shoes (trust me, bouncing over gaps never gets old).
It's still Pac-Man at heart—you'll spot familiar ghosts and power pellets—but now you're solving little puzzles to find keys or figuring out how to swing across gaps with a grappling hook. The pixel art's surprisingly detailed for an SNES game, too, especially the futuristic levels with all their neon lights. Definitely not what you'd expect from a Pac-Man spin-off, but in the best way possible.
If you ever wondered what would happen if Pac-Man stumbled into a time machine, this is your answer.
