Play Pac-Land Online
Pac-Man’s got legs now, sprinting through cartoon neighborhoods, bouncing on springs, and dodging ghosts while racing against the clock—it’s way harder than it looks.

Pac-Land came out in 1984 from Namco, an arcade game that took Pac-Man out of the maze and into a colorful side-scrolling world. It felt different from the quarter-munching platformers of the time, more like a Saturday morning cartoon brought to life. You weren't just gobbling dots in a labyrinth anymore; you were running through towns, forests, and even flying on magic shoes.
You control Pac-Man himself, moving left or right across multiple screens to reach a goal within a strict time limit. The main objective is to guide a lost fairy home, traveling across varied landscapes while avoiding ghosts and obstacles. Key mechanics include bouncing on trampolines to reach higher platforms, using power pellets to temporarily turn the tables on pursuing ghosts, and carefully timing jumps over gaps and enemies. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty spikes quickly, especially when navigating tricky jumps or dealing with unpredictable enemy patterns. It feels frantic and a little unwieldy at times, but there's a genuine charm in seeing Pac-Man dash through such an expansive, lively world.
