Pac'n Roll came out for the Nintendo DS in 2005, developed by Namco. You control Pac-Man by flicking him with the stylus, rolling him through a series of isometric maze levels. Key mechanics include using springs and ramps to gain momentum, and a power pellet mode where you can plow through ghosts to clear your path. The pacing is quick, and the difficulty ramps up steadily as the levels introduce more complex obstacles and enemy patterns. It feels surprisingly tactile and satisfying once you get the hang of guiding him with little flicks and taps.
