Game Overview
Pac'n Roll is one of those weird DS games that actually makes the tilt controls work. Instead of the usual maze-running, you're rolling Pac-Man around like a little ball—tilt the system left or right, and he just goes. Feels surprisingly smooth once you get the hang of it.
The ghosts are still out to get you, of course, but now they’re chasing a wobbly yellow sphere that occasionally picks up speed boosts or temporary invincibility. Some levels have slopes, ramps, even moving platforms—way more dynamic than the original arcade setup. And yeah, you still grab pellets, but now it’s about momentum and timing.
It’s Pac-Man, but if someone gave him a physics engine and said “go nuts.” The Japanese version plays just fine even if you don’t understand the text, since most of it’s pure action anyway. Just watch out for those tight corners—ghosts love ambushing you there.
