Game Overview

Pacboy & Shooting Star is one of those weird little Amiga gems that feels like someone mashed up Pac-Man with a fever dream. You control this round little guy—Pacboy, obviously—navigating maze-like levels while dodging enemies and collecting stars. But here’s the twist: you can grab a shooting star power-up that lets you blast through obstacles and enemies for a few glorious seconds.

The controls are simple, but the levels get surprisingly tricky. One minute you’re casually munching stars, the next you’re frantically zigzagging to avoid a swarm of enemies. The music’s got that classic Amiga chiptune charm, too—catchy but not too repetitive. It’s the kind of game you boot up for a quick round and suddenly realize you’ve been playing for half an hour.

If you’ve got an Amiga emulator or the real thing lying around, it’s definitely worth a look for some retro arcade-style fun.
