Game Overview

Panza Kick Boxing on the Amiga is one of those weirdly charming fighting games that feels a little rough around the edges but has its own weird appeal. You pick from a small roster of fighters—some look like they wandered in from a bad action movie, others like they just left the gym—and then it’s straight into the ring. The controls take a second to get used to, but once you figure out the timing, landing a spinning kick feels oddly satisfying.

It’s not the prettiest or deepest fighter out there, but there’s something about the way the characters move that makes it fun in short bursts. The sound effects are hilariously exaggerated, like every punch is a cannon going off. If you’re into old-school Amiga brawlers, this one’s worth a few rounds.
