Game Overview
Man, Paratrooper II on MS-DOS is one of those games that looks simple until you actually play it. You're stuck at the bottom of the screen with this tiny turret, and paratroopers just keep raining down—except they don't fall straight. They swerve, speed up, and sometimes even fire back at you. The first few waves feel manageable, but then the screen fills up with so many of them that you start panicking and missing shots.
The controls are tight, though—just keyboard arrows and spacebar—so when you lose, it's totally your fault. And you will lose. A lot. The sequel ramps up the chaos from the first game, throwing in enemies that actually try to dodge your bullets. No fancy graphics or story here, just pure, frantic shooting that somehow never gets old. You’ll catch yourself muttering "Okay, last try" at least five times before quitting.
If you miss the days when games were hard by default, this one’s a perfect time capsule.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
