Play Passengers on the Wind Online
You click through hand-drawn 1700s Europe as two fugitives, poking at everything to uncover weird dialogue and occasionally facepalm at the puzzles. The revolution’s chaos seeps into every conversation while you figure out how to survive it.

Passengers on the Wind came out in 1986 for MS-DOS, developed and published by Infogrames. It was one of those early graphic adventures that relied on simple mouse clicks and a lot of imagination, typical for the platform at the time. The game drops you into the middle of the French Revolution, a setting not often explored in games back then, and it uses that backdrop to frame a story about escape and survival.
You control two characters, a man and a woman, both trying to flee the chaos of revolutionary France. The main goal is to guide them safely out of the country by solving puzzles and interacting with the environment screen by screen. You click on objects and people to uncover clues, trigger dialogue, and occasionally face some frustratingly obscure logic puzzles. The pacing is slow, deliberate; you spend a lot of time examining backgrounds and talking to NPCs, and the difficulty can spike without much warning. Playing it feels like piecing together a tense, atmospheric story where every decision matters.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
