Pinball Illusions on the Amiga is one of those games that makes you appreciate how much personality they squeezed into pixel-perfect tables back in the day. The ball physics feel just weighty enough, and there’s something satisfying about how the bumpers react—not too floaty, not too stiff. The tables have these little animated details in the background that you notice after a few plays, like gears turning or lights flickering when you hit certain ramps.

Disk 4 specifically has this one table with a gothic horror theme that’s weirdly charming—think cobwebs and creaky doors, but in that blocky, colorful Amiga way. Took me a few tries to figure out the trick shots, but once you get the timing down, it’s hard to walk away. The music’s got that classic synth vibe, too—kinda cheesy, but in a way that fits perfectly.

If you’ve got an Amiga or an emulator set up, it’s a solid way to kill an afternoon pretending you’re a pinball wizard.
