Play Pocket Racing Online
"Pocket Racing nails that smooth GBC 3D feel—cars actually handle differently, from skittish racers to trucks that plow through turns. Tweak your setup in the garage, then burn rubber on city streets or desert tracks."

Pocket Racing came out for the Game Boy Color in 2000, developed by Denki and published by Ubisoft. It was part of that late-era push on the system where developers tried to squeeze more out of the hardware, offering a polygonal racing experience on a handheld that wasn't really built for it.
You control a small selection of cars, each with distinct handling; some slide easily around corners while others feel heavier and more stable. The main goal is to win a series of cups across different environments, from tight city circuits to open desert tracks. You can adjust your car's gear ratio and tires in a simple garage menu before each race, which subtly changes its performance. The racing itself is fast and the AI provides a decent challenge, often forcing you to learn the tracks to find the best racing line. It feels surprisingly fluid for a Game Boy Color game, a quick and satisfying arcade racer you can finish in short bursts.
