Game Overview
Pokémon Stadium 2 on the N64 is basically the ultimate flex for anyone who spent hours grinding their team in Red, Blue, or Gold/Silver. You finally get to see your pixelated monsters in full 3D glory—and yeah, the animations are hilariously stiff by today’s standards, but there’s something magical about watching your Charizard do a backflip mid-battle.
The Spain version plays exactly like the original, just with Spanish text (obviously). The real fun is in the mini-games—stuff like Lickitung’s sushi-eating contest or the Pichu-powered jump rope challenge. They’re ridiculous, but you’ll end up playing them way longer than you’d admit.
Pro tip: If you’re emulating this, grab a friend. The turn-based battles are solid, but the mini-games turn into pure chaos with two players. Just don’t blame me when someone throws a controller over a lost Clefairy race.
